I know its been awhile since I posted. I've been VERY busy. This past month just flew by. Hell....This past year flew by. So lets see, what all have you missed? Hmmm.....
Here goes:
1) Moved into my apartment FINALLY! I really like it. It's just the right size and in the right location.
2) I lost two co-workers at work. Leanne and Melissa. =(
- Melissa decided to put her two weeks notice in b/c she's been unhappy for months now and finally decided it wasn't worth staying. I don't know how she managed to stay as long as she did. =( Its been really hard for me. It's not like she was just any old co-worker...She was SPECIAL! Very.....S-P-E-C-I-A-L. LOL! And she was my water buddy. Which by the way....Since she's been gone I've only filled up my "Bubba Keg" once.
- Leanne ended up leaving a week after Melissa. She moved to Dallas with Paul since he got a new job up there. Its weird not having her around. She always kept me laughing with all her crazy comments.
Work just has not been the same with these two gone. I do get a lot more of my work done now. LOL!
3) We decided to stay in town for Christmas this year. It was really weird. We ALWAYS go down to the valley for Christmas but not this year. I spent Christmas Eve at Pree's with Alexis. I had just stopped by to drop off his gift and somehow I ended up staying til 5 AM. I was incredibly tired the next day but I loved spending time with him.
4) Christmas night I came home to find Cosmo dead. =( I took it pretty hard. Don't really feel like going into the details on what happened to him right now though.
5) New Year's Eve.......Well we ended up going downtown to meet Nyssa and some friends at Cedar Door but we never made it that far. Once we got down to 6th street we decided we'd just stay there. We had a really good time and I ended up running into my ex down there. Marcus. He looked VERY good. So Alexis and I BOTH got our New Year's kiss from him. LOL. After we were done with everything and I had taken Alexis home I ended up going to Marcus' and he asked me to stay the night with him. Big mistake? Not exactly. I think it was good that I did that. I realized a lot that night. He hasn't changed and I know he'll never be someone that I'll be able to date. EVER! He let me go through his camera and after seeing all the pictures he'd taken of females........That's all it took. We did a little kissing and stuff but there just wasn't anything there. I think we both car about eachother but we're just not meant to be anything more than friends. The good thing is that we both realize that and are okay with it.
6) As for yesterday......went to San Antonio to visit some family. Got a call from a Private number......it was DAVID! It was really sad b/c I had no clue who it was. I could not recognize his voice. He was just returning my call b/c I'd called him on New Year's Eve to tell him to be careful and have a good night. I honestly DID NOT think he'd call back but he did. =) We talked for a little bit. It was nice. Teared up a few times but I managed to make it through the whole conversation without breaking down. Not sure if he'll ever call again but just getting to let him know how I felt was all I needed.
So thats about it........there will be more tomorrow.
